shallowClone

Creates a shallow clone of an object.

Use Object.assign() and an empty object ({}) to create a shallow clone of the original.

const shallowClone = (obj) => Object.assign({}, obj);

const a = { x: true, y: 1 };
const b = shallowClone(a); // a !== b
